Jessica DiLaurentis' Murderer is the anonymous person who killed Jessica DiLaurentis.

It was assumed to be "A" as they were seen burying her, however it is later revealed that Charlotte DiLaurentis is "A" and found Jessica this way. The true identity of the killer was revealed to be Mary Drake in "Power Play".

Jessica DiLaurentis is murdered by someone and found and buried by "A".

Season 6

Game Over, Charles

It is revealed that Jessica's daughter, Charlotte DiLaurentis, is "A". Charlotte returned home to see her mother before she left and found her lying dead, therefore meaning "A" did not kill Jessica.

Notes

  • This is one of the only major questions not to be revealed before or during "Game Over, Charles". This is presumably due to the fact that Mary's presence in the series was not made evident until "Hush, Hush, Sweet Liars".
  • It was presumed by both the characters and fans that Charlotte DiLaurentis, then known as Charles, was responsible for the murder. However, she reveals that she only buried her mother, not killed her.
  • Since the reveal of Mary Drake, Jessica's twin, she has become a large suspect, as in the book series Alison killed her twin sister, Courtney. This theory is proven to be correct in "Power Play".
  • Mary had attempted to make Peter Hastings an accomplice to the murder. After he refused, she tried to frame him.
